Now in its second year, we’re thrilled to bring back OnBlackheath, a music and food festival with a difference.
It’s taking place on the weekend 12/13 September 2015 on the green open space of Blackheath Common in south-east London, home to the start of the London Marathon.
An eclectic mix of established artists and new talent will perform across the weekend, with Saturday headliners Elbow supported by exciting special guests, including Manic Street Preachers, Anna Calvi and Jack Savoretti.
On Sunday, headliners Madness will be supported by special guests including Kelis, Al Green and Laura Mvula. The supporting stages will showcase alternative music, dance and DJ sets, including Gilles Peterson and Heavenly Records.
The Food Village is a haven for food lovers; visit the Chef’s Club hosted by Food Busker John Quilter for a unique immersive dining experience. Our Demonstration stage will host a mixture of Michelin-starred British talent and London’s emerging food trend setters – all cooking up inspiring creations for you to try.
This family-friendly festival also offers a whole host of interactive fun, with games, workshops, entertainment and activities for children (and adults) of all ages. This year we’re adding a special space where you can immerse yourself in the latest in interactive music and arts.
You can buy tickets here (opens in a new window), and if you’re a my John Lewis member*, look out for added extras over the coming months.
