We’re thrilled to have worked in partnership to develop OnBlackheath, a music and food festival with a difference.
It’s taking place on the weekend 13/14 September 2014 on the green open space of Blackheath Common in south-east London, home to the start of the London Marathon.
An eclectic mix of established artists and new talent will perform across the weekend, with headliners Massive Attack (Saturday) and Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls (Sunday) being supported by exciting special guests including Grace Jones, Aloe Blacc and Young Fathers (Saturday) and Imelda May and Athlete (Sunday).
On the supporting stages, there’ll be alternative music, dance and DJ sets including Hot Chip, Gilles Peterson and Don Letts, and an appearance by local legends Glenn Tilbrook and Chris Difford. For food lovers, visit the demo stage and the chef’s club, hosted by Gizzi Erskine and featuring a range of Michelin-starred British talent – all cooking up tasty creations for you to sample.
This family-friendly festival also offers a fabulous area designed specially for kids, with arts & crafts workshops, games and special performances.
You can buy tickets here (opens in a new window), and if you’re a my John Lewis member*, look out for added extras over the coming months.
