From sandcastle building in the Med to hiking and biking in the Alps, it’s that time of year when many of us are gearing up for a long-awaited summer break.
Of course, when you’re counting down the days there are important preparations to make and decisions to be taken about what you’ll need. How many T-shirts should you pack for a cruise? Are socks a no-no in Ibiza Town? Is SPF 30 too low? Even hunting down bits and bobs like an adaptor plug make your holiday dreams finally seem a reality.
Arranging travel insurance also signals that time’s drawing near to head off to sunnier climes. And this could in fact be one of the best buys of your holiday shop.
Why do you need travel insurance?
When you’re jetting off abroad, having the right protection for your trip can help give peace of mind so that you can really relax and enjoy yourself. Medical bills and emergency flights, not to mention the cost of cancellations or delays, can cost hundreds if not thousands of pounds.
