Incorporate and integrate your appliances

When it comes to choosing kitchen appliances for a new kitchen, if you’re looking to create a sleek and clean aesthetic then the integrated option may well appeal.

When it comes to choosing kitchen appliances for a new kitchen, if you’re looking to create a sleek and clean aesthetic then the integrated option may well appeal.

There are two options to consider when choosing your integrated appliances:

Fully-integrated
Fully integrated appliances match the look of your kitchen cabinetry. In other words, instead of a refrigerator or dishwasher having a stainless steel, white or black front, it will have a door that is the same type of door that you have on all of your other cabinets.

Semi-integrated
The front of a semi integrated appliance will have a panel that matches your other cabinet doors in the kitchen. However, the control panel may be visible, or the vent at the bottom of the appliance might be seen.

It’s not only the look that’s achieved with integrated appliances; one of the key benefits is the flexibility they can offer. You can mix and match to select the best combination to suit your cooking style and food preferences.

Smeg, Miele and Siemens are among the leading brands who offer a complete integrated package, ranging from microwaves, compact/combination ovens, steam ovens, dishwashers and coffee machines.

If you’re after the wow factor, co-ordinating hobs and hoods complete the look..Island cooker hoods like this Elica Circus HP Island Chimney cooker hood make a real style statement. And for simple, clean lines this Siemens EH879SP17E induction hob is a show-stopping piece.

Integrated wine cabinets are a useful addition for extra storage space, as well as warming drawers which make a nice addition to an oven unit.

You can really go to town on the design element with integrated appliances. Flexible installation options such as an in-column tower, side by side bank or cube configuration add to the appeal of integrated appliances, meaning you can choose a layout configuration to suit your needs, space and style preferences.

It’s also important to note that some integrated appliances have more features than freestanding appliances. These Siemens and Miele ovens offer a whole host of clever functions. The Miele DGC6300 ContourLine combination steam oven offers combination and steam cooking with 20 automatic programmes guiding you through any
cooking task.

The Siemens HB75RB551B single electric oven suggests which temperatures should be used based on the function you select. This oven will also clean itself at the touch of a button.

For cheaper alternatives, we offer a selection of our own brand integrated appliances. Take a look at the selection in our brochure here.
