Shape and form are captured in this stunning linocut print. Only 12 copies of Jane Walker’s Two Chairs have been printed, with the issue number featured on the print. So grab yourself this Limited Edition piece to curate your own collect of rare art works.
The print has a large, white mount with a black, box wooden frame.
Jane Walker studied illustration and printmaking at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art before following a career in design. She has designed textiles and ceramics, illustrated magazines, designed programme brands at the BBC, created channel identities for international broadcasters and has now come full circle to rediscover her first love - printmaking and particularly linocuts.
Fascinated by the process which is tactile, sculptural and graphic she loves to play with line and colour, exploring the patterns created through the relationship of forms found in the world around us.
Jane uses the reduction linocut technique to produce handmade limited edition prints. Each print is created by a single block with each colour cut and then printed from the same piece of lino - the editions are therefore small and cannot be reprinted.
