Q & As

John Lewis Wooden Baby Walker and Bricks 4.6 5 29 29
Great gift I bought this for my niece and it went down a treat. She'd never walked before, but with this walker she was up in no time. It's well built and would be difficult for a baby to tip. Definitely fit for purpose. 11 December 2014
Wooden Baby Walker and Bricks The assemble instructions for this walker warn 'Fittings may loosen over time'. My Grandson has used this walker in doors on carpet for just two weeks and the screws that attach the handle to the base have come loose a number of times and also two of the wheels are now falling off . I rang John Lewis Customer Services who only had a vague interest in my call - the walker it's going back for a refund. This wooden walker looks good and solid but the fittings are not of a standard you would expect. 05 November 2014
Lovely Walker My 11 month old son loves pushing round his walker. I can see he will be able to use this for longer than other walkers as he will be able to play with the bricks and push his toys around. The only disappointing thing about the walker is the quality of some of the bricks as the letters are "smudged" on some of the bricks. It's unfortunate the quality of all bricks wasn't checked. 28 August 2014
Excellent toy Bought this for my Grandson who is 10 months old - very sturdy and traditional toy which will last for years. Within a couple of weeks of using it he has gained confidence and is walking with it - he loves it. To see him smile as he walks along with it is a pleasure. 12 August 2014
good quality my little boy has had lots of fun pushing this around the house. he also enjoys throwing the blocks at the cat! 30 July 2014
Best walker ever!!! Having very little space in the house I had to look for an alternative to the traditional baby walker and found this. It's very sturdy and will last many years for my son to use unlike the regular walker which every parent has to put/give/throw away once the baby starts walking. The other bonus is the lovely blocks you get they are so colourful and my son loves them, these will go a long way too. Totally love this product and would recommend to every parent. 08 July 2014
Good.....but... Everything you could want from such a toy, but be careful of the red handles. On the one we have received, the colour rubs off very easily when the handles touch walls/doors etc. and is quite difficult to clean off. Not a problem if you live in a house that has red walls and doors! 31 May 2014
so much better than plastic! Nicely constructed, bright colours and our 9 month old got the hang of pushing it straight away. Friends have plastic versions which play tunes etc. The wood however has both longevity as children learn to both destroy and build using the blocks but lack the annoying tunes that electric ones have, everyone is happy! 20 May 2014
