Alex has been a curator at the Design Museum since 2009, with responsibility for curating original and international touring exhibitions, assisting with educational events and collections development. He has curated numerous exhibitions including the Brit Insurance Designs of the Year a Dieter Rams retrospective and a project to curate and reinstall the Design Museum’s permanent collection, making it available to the public for the first time in over five years. He has most recently worked on an exhibition celebrating the impact of design on sport that was first shown to coincide with the London 2012 Olympics as well as The Future is Here: A New Industrial Revolution, and exploration of digital fabrication and its influence on design and manufacturing.
