Rated 1 out of 5 by Useless cant see anything! I brought this for my son last year and meant to take it back but as dont live near a John Lewis i didnt, but it never focused on anything, if not giving you eyeache trying to! No instructions either, waste of money. 24 November 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by difficult to focus Not only my grandson, but also my husband and daughter, were unable to see anything through this telescope, so I will return it to the store for a refund. Very disappointing, as I bought it to go with the pirate costume I bought. 17 November 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by A reasonable first telescope I bought this for my 5yr old grandson [although the product is clearly labeled age 6+]. I think that he will possibly 'grow into it', and he was very interested in being able to look at the stars and the moon. I think that it was a worthwhile, inexpensive first purchase before committing to something more expensive - which I will only buy if my grandson shows a more serious interest. However, it did not come with instructions [the box did say that they are enclosed], and I do feel that the viewing end could be a little more child friendly - it was difficult for the adults to focus in at first, let alone a child. 26 December 2014
