Made from solid sheesham wood with an untreated finish, so that the beauty of the wood makes each piece truly unique with its distinctive grain. Some of the pieces also have unconventional but practical design features, emphasising the furniture's modern character.

Sheesham wood is used in the production of Batamba because of its unique and natural characteristics. No two pieces of wood will be equal in shape, structure or colour, which is why variations in colour are inevitable, even within a single piece.

Wind and hairline cracks, varying knot sizes and light coloured spots are all the results of years of growth and individuality.

In time, the furniture will obtain a lighter and warmer colour through use and exposure to light.
