Very short in the leg!
I recently bought these wellies for my son but had to return them as they came up very short in the leg. They are not ideal for kids that like to splash in puddles as water would be straight over the top of them!

Excellent wellingtons - have lasted over a year
I bought these for my daughter, as being reasonably-priced, unfussy boots. She has been wearing them almost constantly for the last 10 months, and they are in excellent condition, but she has outgrown them!
It looks as though there is a quality issue at present, but when it is resolved, I recommend these highly, and will be buying a larger size.

Not great quality
In all, I have bought 3 pairs of these boots - the first pair was about a year ago and they lasted fairly well (had a hole where the sole meets the upper after about 8 months). The most recent two pairs were bought in Sept and November 2012 and both pairs have now cracked and have various holes appearing (mainly around the sole/upper edge again), the inner liner on one of the pairs is also coming away! So although they look nice and are a good price, I'm really not sure if they are worth it -I personally will not be buying them again! On a positive note, I rang John Lewis customer service about it today and they were excellent!

Cracked
Wish I had read the reviews - I bought these in store for my son and they were great until they cracked and split right across the toe line. I bought them in December and they split in January, only used occasionally!
Don't buy if you want a pair of wellies that will last.

The Perfect Wellington Boot
I bought these for my grandson after looking around in various stores and finding lots of boots that were either overpriced, or too decorated/branded etc.
They are a good fit, enough space for a thick sock and doesn't feel like he will grow out of them too quickly. They are great quality and really good value for money.

Good while lasted - but that was only 12 weeks!
My son wears wellies everyday and these looked perfect for school and the right colour. However they cracked before he outgrew them!
Bought at the beginning of September and cracked by end of November. Will be buying some wellies from somewhere else next time.

Cracked
I have to agree with previous reviewer in that the boots cracked very easily. One of them has split right across the middle after very little wear. They are very short so not suitable for splashing in puddles (soaks my 2 year olds trousers every time!). I will opt for the Hunter boots next time as they last for many many years. In the long run the Hunter boots (though twice the price) are better value as they last the whole autumn/winter and I can pass them down to my other children where as these boots were in the bin after a mere 2 months.

Crack very easily
They look great and other reviews had said they were good value. The first pair cracked on the creases, and because they looked like good value I bought another pair. These lasted almost one month before cracking again.
They don't go very far up the leg so even when worn with over-trousers splashes from puddles soon come over and soak feet and/or trousers. If you have a child who loves puddles and is in wellies nearly every day, these aren't for you.
