John Lewis Boys' Easy-Care School Trousers, Black
Useful waistband for the very slim child
Would have given full marks except for the fact that the trousers required 2 washes to soften the material

Not very flattering
I'm no fan of slim leg on young boys, but these are really quite wide in the leg and are not at all flattering, my son, whose 12 won't wear them.

Rather shiny trousers
Unfortunately these trousers whilst they seem of reasonable quality are made of such shiny fabric that they look a bit cheap.

You may pay more than in supermarkets but these look great and wash great for much longer. Money better spent now than having to buy more trousers later.

Trousers look durable and fit for purpose - haven't washed them yet so don't know how they will wear over time.

Not for a four year old
Lovely trousers and fitted really well, but they have clips on them which is beyond my four year old. Much prefer M&S who have a policy of no zips and clips for under sevens.

Better than Marks and Spencers'
Really hard wearing and good value. They wash well. Bought after disastrous time with M&S equivolent (three pairs had holes in the knees after only wearing once). Will buy from John Lewis every time from now on.

Quality boys school trousers
These look good quality and smart but have come up big for the size, and are too big for my son, but he will grow into them.
