John Lewis The Basics Butler Bowl
Big bowl for lots of washing up.
This is a really large bowl, check that it will fit your sink before buying, it only just fits mine...I never thought I'd need to check. Anyway, great bowl, excellent value. Collected in store, it was in the most enormous cardboard box and came with masses and masses of bubble wrap which will also be very useful but maybe a little 'over-packaged' for a plastic bowl.

Just the right size
Needed an extra large basin to fit my new ceramic sink...this was perfect, right size, good colour, very sturdy & well priced for the quality. Would highly recommend.

Pleased to say this massive basin has made washing up less of a chore. Seems to take less time now that all the dishes can go in and have a good soak first. Works well with Belfast sink.

So good I bought 2 one for our laundry and one for our country kitchen, never seem them so big before so just brilliant!
Do you know the difference between a Belfast and a London sink.... A Belfast has an overflow... Londoners had to conserve water

Quality full size bowl
My Wife and I were so pleased to see John Lewis were selling this full size kitchen sink bowl, they are not easy to find these days. We had been looking for one for a couple of years, but most shops were only selling the small bowls.

Best ever bowl for washing up and no end of other uses
This is by far the best washing up bowl I have ever seen for sale, fantastic quality and very solid. I bought two several years ago and they are still in as-new condition. I am so pleased I have just bought another one in case JL cease to supply them (don't you dare, JL!). They have no end of uses other than just as washing-up bowls, eg for standing pot plants in to have a drink overnight. I use one under the kitchen sink to stand the bottles of cleaning products in, to stop the floor of the unit getting messy. I use another to soak laundry before washing, and then after the washing it becomes a laundry basket. Your reviewers who say it's too big -- or too small -- just didn't check the measurements provided - vital when buying online. I'm grateful for this BIG bowl that's large enough for all the uses I want it for, including my big kitchen sink -- there are plenty of inferior small bowls out there. Well done JL!
