Stunning, beautiful light, receives many comments This light really is lovely. We live in a London Georgian terrace with many original features but had opted for modern takes of originals when it comes to the furniture in our living room. We are fortunate to have higher than average ceilings and so this really is a perfect fit, we absolutely love it. It is not cheap! This is a more expensive purchase than we are used to and it did take some persuading from my wife to buy it - but every time we receive a comment on it I get the knowing, 'I told you' glance from her! Things to bear in mind: * These pictures don't do it justice - go see it in the shop * It will look lovely in the shop.. the shop is a lot bigger than your lounge! * It is heavy - we reinforced the ceiling with a piece of wood between the beams in the roof * My parents had chandeliers that looked similar and we were forever knocking off the glass - these are not hooked on but looped on #think like a key ring# so if you knock it, clean it, have a tall bloke in your house - they stay put! This is great but means it takes a long time to put together! * It is hung on three wires - it is incredibly difficult to get the thing level - but once you have invested time, it is worth it! 09 October 2014
Stunning centrepiece! I bought this after seeing it on display in the Edinburgh store, I would never have chosen it just looking online as it is much nicer in reality. It is a modern take on a chandelier, and looks great in my 100 year old house. I wanted it for my dining room to add a touch of glam without going for something too modern or too traditional. The electrician was left to put it up but accidentally fitted it in my hall way which was also awaiting a light fitting and because he had left before I realised his mistake we had it hanging in the hall over the weekend. Suprisingly it really looked great as a focal point, and had I not planned for it to be in the dining room I probably would have kept it there! It has since been re fitted in the dining room and really is fabulous, it has a nice light with three bulbs, clear bulbs definitely look best, the glass droplets were easy to attach but it did take about 40 minutes, and they sparkle and reflect the light making patterns on the wall. I have had lots of admiring comments about it, my ceilings are reasonably high (9ft) I dont think it would suit lower ceilings so well. It is expensive but to be fair it looks expensive and is unlike anything else I have ever seen. 31 January 2014
