Great-looking plate, slightly too big I love the pattern of this range. The blue strip around the rim makes a nice change from the ubiquitous all-white crockery everyone seems to have these days. I find the sizing of some of the items a bit odd. I agree with the other reviews saying that the dinner plate is too large. I couldn't fit these in my kitchen shelves and have to store them in my dining room sideboard. The salad plate is great for side dishes and snacks. It would be nice to either make the dinner plate slightly smaller, the salad plate slightly larger, or else introduce a third plate that is more of a luncheon size, 10 inches or so. I also wish the coffee mugs were a bit larger. 21 March 2012

Too large for dishwasher! Lovely set. Bought to go in my holiday home. Unfortunately the plates are too big for both my home dishwasher and my holiday home dishwasher. I wish the design team would think more carefully about measurements! 29 February 2012

good quality Very nice plates, side plates and bowls. Generous sizes of plates, though the cereal bowls are slightly on the small side. I ordered two of the 'Large Pasta' bowls for salad/vegetable serving bowls and they are an ideal size. Well made and hefty. Items well packed too - no damage in transit 12 January 2012

Size of plate and product description It may just be that I have an ancient dishwasher that can't seem to cope with anything larger than 27cm, but annoyingly the product description does not include dimensions for this range, and so I have to send these back. Please can you include them John Lewis!!! I now have bowls and side plates, and no dinner plates to match. And very few of your own house ranges actually come in sizes less than 28cm in diameter, so the choice is not wonderful for the budget conscious individual. What are the chances of producing a 26/27cm diameter plate in this range...? The products themselves are lovely and as people have said previously, good value for money. Can you recommend a suitable china dinner plate that might work appropriately with this range? 03 January 2012
