Q & As

Rated 2.2 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Falls apart The varnish isn't waterproof and starts to fail within days, the adhesive (if they've used one) isn't waterproof and joints start coming undone soon after. The design mean plates on the rack force the joints apart and the top rail bows away from the bottom rail so that soon the joints aren't even touching the rail - so within a month the whole thing is starting to crumble. Really surprised to see that they are still on sale 22 October 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor quality and design Have returned this product. The bottom board is completely flat so water could not run off items placed on the bottom rack. You couldn't sit things on an angle due to the height restriction with the upper section. The quality & design are poor, the bottom left peg did not sit securely in it's hole, minimal pressure by hand or placing crockery on caused it to collapse with subsequent breakages. We are only 2 people, so certainly didn't overload it. Didn't trust it enough to leave any crockery on it. It was smaller than the last similar one I bought from John Lewis. Overall it looked quite nice but disappointing quality and dysfunctional! 23 September 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Do not buy this This fell apart after a month of use. The varnish came off and it the wood joints started falling apart. Several plates fell off as a result and broke. Avoid buying this at all costs!! 02 May 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Safely stacks dishes It's well made, lightweight and due to its material drys quickly 27 January 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor build quality After much anticipation this product arrived and was clearly faulty from the start. It collapses with minimal pressure placed on top. The wooden grooves are either not carved out properly or just simply aren't fitting. They are supposed to allow the fold function and then hold at the bottom, but it doesn't. Despite being decent quality wood - it feels cheap and poorly assembled. Returning this item. 21 November 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Strong, Sturdy Item So many dish racks either rust or are too flimsy and collapse under the weight of heavy dishes. This one holds a large saucepan with inner stainless steel steamer, plates, cups and saucers with no problem at all. Overall I'm very pleased and hope I won't need to replace it for a few years. 30 September 2014
