Q & As

Rated 2.8 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by The best I could find This is a high quality product and is a good match with my plate drainer. A cheaper one from elsewhere went rusty in no time at all. However, it is not good for small teaspoons and even the holes on the bottom are quite large making the cutlery stick at times. Things also fall through the side gaps. I feel sure that someone could produce a better design, but this is definitely the best that I could find on the market at the moment. 05 April 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by What I wanted On using it, I think one of the sections needs to be shallower, as teaspoons are quite difficult to get out - they barely reach the top! I've also discovered that at one end the holes in the mesh are big enough for them to fall through - luckily the gaps are not so big the other end 10 November 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Who designed this? Whoever designed this has never done any washing. It is so badly design and impractical. Cutlery slide through the gaps which are too wide and slither across your sink space to fall on the floor and have to be washed again. Don't waste your money and time! 22 August 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Bad design If you are the sort of person who takes ages over the washing up, putting each item into the basket separately and carefully, then go ahead and buy it. It's a nice design to look at. But it is totally impractical. Things just slide through the gaps and slither across your sink space to fall on the floor and have to be washed again. I am returning mine. 24 March 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Quality cutlery drainer I suspect the previous reviewer didn't look at this when buying. As you can see, it is minimalistic: what you see is what you get and yes, like me you can see gaps where misplaced items could easily slip through. That said, if you wash up with your eyes open I don't think you will have any problems, I haven't. Needless to say, it is very well made and compliments John Lewis' stainless steel dish drainers. 28 November 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Beautiful, but not so practical This is a beautiful item, sadly let down by the fact that the sides are open, thus allowing cutlery to fall through, and there being no raised section for shorter items such as teaspoons. Disappointing - not really suitable for its intended purpose. 20 December 2011
