John Lewis Easy-to-fit Mondo Acrylic Pendant Shade
fiddly but worth it
yes, a bit fiddly to make up and instructions basic - but not hard to grasp what you have to do - and it looks amazing - really chic - I feel like it has given my living room a real make over!

Easy to put together and looks great when up....much more expensive looking than price

I bought a pair of these acrylic shades for our bedroom. They are easy to assemble and look fabulous, allowing plenty of light into the room.

Lovely - when it is finished.......
Now this is assembled and hanging up it looks really good and I am very pleased with it. BUT putting it together was pretty irritating. Imagine the maximum number of pieces it could come in - it does. Each one is in an individual poly bag which, in fairness, is probably a good thing to stop the pieces getting scratched. The top ends of the curved sections need to be flush with each other. After a while I figured out it would be best to put all the top ends on first and then clip the bottom ends in. I had difficulty getting the adaptor ring over the lamp holder (I was not meant to remove it for my fitting) so I hope I don't want to take it down any time soon.

the pendant lantern is gorgeous for its practicality, semplicity and properties of the material to double or make it the light more bright.
Please take note on the price of the other model being on display is higher but in the website it is less, comparing to what we bought.

Practical and stunning product!
Easy to assemble and once assembled hangs beautifully! Looks much more expensive than price paid-appears as if constructed of glass rather than acrylic material

As a very unconfident DIY person, I had no problem fitting together this lovely pendant light. It sparkes beautifully and has attracted many favourable comments, so much so that I have bought a second to fix on the landing to complement the original one in my hallway. They lends a contempory touch to our Edwardian country home and blend well with antique and modern furniture.

Max 60w bulb in description...
...but labelled 40w maximum when delivered. Really? I'm too old to read the self assembly instructions with a 40w bulb overhead. Not that self assembly was mentioned in the description, either.
