Q & As

John Lewis Floating Frog Symphony Bath Toy 2 5 7 7
Frogs do "sing" I got sent this product by my sister. The frogs are very cute and float quite well on their lily pads. We were a little confused as how to make them "sing". They actually whistle when gently tapped on the head. 1. put frog in lily pad 2. place in warm bath and leave there for a few minutes 3. GENTLY tap them on the head so the get pushed into the water about 1/2 an inch 4. the water pushes the air out from under the frog and makes a whistling/hooting sound. Blowing air through the frog from the bottom makes the same sound (as my daughter discovered) They are a fabulous toy but NEED instructions for how to make them sing. 04 March 2014
no croak and do not stay upright! I purchased these as a gift for my 6 month old neice. Thankfully she has no idea what rubbish they are. they do not croak and do not stay upright when hit. even when lightly tapped they fall over. If they were advertised merely as floating frogs they would score higher but they make NO SYMPHONY. 27 December 2013
We enjoy these These frogs are a fun musical bath time addition. They do tip over easily and they take a while to warm up (i think water needs to reach certain areas) but on the whole are a nice change from squirts toys. 27 March 2013
Very poor Agree with other reviewers. Tip over if you touch them and do not make a noise. I looked them up online to see if it was just that I wasn't doing it right, but no - they really do not work. Always seems so unfair when a child's toy doesn't work. 26 March 2013
do not float waste ot time these do not float and do not make any noise they are not suitable for a child to play with 03 January 2013
Total rubbish This product is total rubbish. I bought it for my daughter's birthday but having given it a quick test it's clear that the frogs don't float properly and she'd have to bash the seven bells out of them to make a discernable sound. Will be sending back. 08 October 2012
Disappointing I bought this toy for my 14 month old and I am really disappointed with it. The frogs tip upside down as soon as you touch them and even if I hold them steady with one hand and hit them with the other you have to hit them really hard to get any sort of sound out, there is no way my little boy can get them to make a noise. No fun at all. 06 October 2012
