John Lewis Fruits Highchair
Lasts 16months before the fabric rips
Bought this for my son when he was 6 months old, and although he looked tiny in it, it worked really well and I liked it as a highchair. After 16 months use, the fabric at the back of the chair ripped at the seam making it unsafe. John Lewis' excellent customer service replaced it as a gesture of goodwill (outside of warranty) but exactly 16 months of use with the new chair and it has not only ripped at the back of the seat but also at the top of the head rest - my son has only used it once a day for the last six months so although I really like the design and use of the chair, it's not built to last and not up to John Lewis' usual high standards.

The worst thing I have ever purchased from John Lewis!
I purchased this chair for my little boy and have been very surprised at the poor quality! It is very difficult to fold up and has to be propped up against another surface to keep it folded. After only a short period the seams on the seat split allowing pieces of food to get trapped in the cover. In order to get the straps off for washing they have to be unscrewed which is time consuming and impracticle. The worst thing is that it is very easy for my son to get out of the straps and stand up in the chair making it very dangerous! It doesnt matter how tight the straps are he can still wriggle out of them and as the seat base is long this allows him enough leverage to stand up! On the plus side, John Lewis customer service have as always been very good in providing a replacement for the original chair.

Bought this high chair for our grandson. It's well made easy to clean and a great price.

Really pleased with this purchase. It was bought for use with my grandchild and, as I didn't want to have the house cluttered with too much baby equipment, I decided to have a light weight, collapsible high chair that could be easily stored away. I have not been disappointed with this product. It really is good value for money. Only downside is the tray which is very stiff to clip into place, hoping it will loosen with wear.

Simple folding highchair
Fairly simple to assemble but removing all the plastic from frame etc was very difficult as it had been put on before all the screws etc. were inserted.
Easy ordering/delivery and bought for use at grandparents' house.

John Lewis Fruits Highchair
We bought this for our granddaughter who comes to visit a few times a year. She is very comfortable and safe in this chair and it folds up for when she is not here.
It also had the added advantage that you can either use the front tray, or leave it lying down the back of the chair, thus allowing the chair to be brought right up to the table alongside the rest of the family.
All in all we are very satisfied with our purchase and it is excellent value for the money.

Good quality product
Bought this for my granddaughter to use for the first time over Christmas. It was easily assembled by me ( Grandma). Really easy to wipe clean and store away after use.

I bought this high chair for my grandson to use at our house. I have found it very difficult to clean. My daughter has used the baby led weaning system which is very messy. The food ends up in the strap fastener and on the straps. These are screwed to the chair making it impossible to clean. The fabric trim is not easy to clean either as it is not plastic like the seat and gets very grubby when his little hands grab the sides. I realise this is an inexpensive chair but some way to detach the straps other than unscrewing them would be better.
