Quality piece of firniture
This is a very solid and well made dining table, that is easy to put togther, and looks very good. I bought this together with the stride dining chairs, and am very happy with my purchases,

A FINE TABLE
I saw something similar at another shop but the base was laminated, whereas John Lewis provides solid oak base, which is much much nicer.
Assembly was easy and straight-forward for one person.
You will want someone to help you lift the glass onto the base though.

Gorgeous table
This table is very stylish and definitely makes a small space feel bigger. I found it to be more sleek in design then other similar tables on the market at a good price and great quality. Standard delivery was really quick (2 days). Some of the screws were a little fiddly but it was worth the extra few minutes of assembly. Highly recommend.

Highly impressed
This is my first review ever for an online purchase - and I've been online shopping for years. I just want to say that the table is absolutely gorgeous and the two delivery men (based in Aberdeen) were so extremely friendly and helpful. I just moved into a new flat and am living on my own - and I was so happy when they offered to help me assemble the table. One of the wooden pegs was too long and they even took out a little saw and dealt with that expertly.
5 stars for the table - 10 stars for the staff.

aesthetically pleasing piece of furniture
this table was exactly what i was looking for, it looks really good, it's reflective surface gives a light and spacious feel to my dining area, combined with the vanessa leather chairs i have achieved the look i wanted , but never thought i could get. people's comments have been so favourable , and the buying experience was pleasant, i went to the cardiff store initially then ordered online. so easy , the delivery men were helpful , polite and cheerful, a credit to the john lewis image.

Good looking product
Bought the dining table & console table together. The oak legs are good quality, heavy & sturdy. The glass top is great because it really allows you to appreciate the oak design, although I'm always wiping little finger marks off it!
