Really pleased with pattern & quality of the actual blind . Not at all happy with the poor quality brackets that come with the blind that are screwed to the wall then the blind clips in to . Out of three brackets one had the spring plastic clip broke off immediately , another feels quite weak & the third seems OK . Have got the blind up ( not too secure though ) . Have got to go back to JLewis to hopefully get a couple of new brackets . Blind looks good though .

This was our first purchase of a Roman blind and turned out to be a great disappointment.
The pulley system is shoddy and it is a real fiddle to lower the blind, so much so that my wife insists that I raise and lower it.
The overall appearance is sloppy with the blind presenting a droopy appearance. Pity really, since the fabric is nice.

I purchased this blind because I loved the colour and pattern, the first blind I received was very poor and didnt hang properly, so I spoke to John Lewis customer service who arranged a replacement. When this arrived it was much better. Now that the dark nights have arrived I like to close the blind when I have the lights on, this is a real chore and gets worse every night. The mechanism is useless and pulling the cord to release it you end up pulling the whole blind off the fixings. Want my advice - dont buy it.

I like Roman blinds and just love the colour of these blinds but I am truly disappointed with the quality of the fabric and pulley system. The blind's pulley system make the blinds wonky and it's a struggle to try and adjust. I keep mine open all the time because it's too much of an effort to keep playing with the mechanism. Now I am stuck with blinds that I don't know what to do with. John Lewis need to sort out the pulley system.

I was pleased with my purchase as the colour was true and the quality fine. It would have been better if the blind had been lined but for kitchen use this is not essential. The hanging mechanisms are just about adequate for a secure fit but can be tricky in an old property with uneven walls. It would be nice to see these redesigned to give a firmer grip. I was also not unduly concerned to find strings at the side instead of a winding mechanism but others may see this as a detrimental design feature.

This was the first time I have bought and fitted a roman blind so I have no comparison, but I found it simple to fit, easy to work and looks great. I bought on line and was not disappointed.

Bought these thinking quality would be good. The locking mechanism is not very good and results in blind always being a bit wonky! Works slightly better on the smaller blind but is a problem on larger width blinds. Would be better if they used a regular pull cord system.

Having bought four roman blinds in store, of other designs, I decided to purchase three of this style roman blind for my lounge bay window mainly because I liked the fact that the in store blinds used a side winder mechanism not a cord cleet which isn't suitable for upvc windows. Unfortunately they were not available in store only available to order on line. When the three blinds arrived much to my annoyance and disappointment all three blinds were cord and cleet. The online description really needs to detail which mechanism the blinds are supplied with. I know I have the option to return but having purchased the same material in store to make cushions I am goosed and now have to figure out how to attach a cleet to the plastic window frame without screwing into the plastic.
