John Lewis Girls' Stretch School Blouse, White
Good quality, great fit, washes well and best off all good value.

Nice and slim and long
The 15 yrs size fits my tall and slim 14 year old really well, i like the subtle pleating on the sides. HOWEVER she has very long arms and because the cuffs are so stiff and not quite in the right place they pinch and hurt her skin on the inside of the elbow when she bends her arm.
John Lewis- maybe you could add a split to give more flexibility as i have seen in other shirts?
Otherwise great shirt.

Smart and crisp
This one fitted well and wasn't too tight around the arms so overall very pleased.

Bring back the old design
Having read the review below, I ordered a 38" in this second re-design of a blouse that was perfect to start with. I will keep the 38" as I desperate for a high cotton content, but it's far from an ideal fit and only just does up around the hips of my 13 year old. I still have one of the first design (bought summer 2012) if the manufacturer would like to replicate it!

Fit still not good
I have waited with great anticipation for the "new" version of the 3/4 fitted blouse which had so many issues with the sleeves - see product 53900424. This however is not the solution. My daughter is currently wearing age 14 John Lewis long sleeved blouses which are a good fit but she should now be wearing these 3/4. Given the problems with the previous product I thought I'd order 38" and take in where necessary. The sleeves are snug but wearable, she can't however fasten the blouse over her hips! If you look at the "darts" they aren't actually darts but are pleats which continue all the way down to the hem, so you don't get a "fitted" look i.e. pinched in at the waist but a pinched in at the waist and stay in. It was also incredibly long. As these are usually worn over skirts you would expect them to end a few inches below the waist. It may be it istoo long as the size is too big but then the arms would be even more snug and forget hips! Needless to say returned.
