John Lewis Hampton Union Jack Cushion
I found these on line while still in Toronto. I went to the store in London and was extremely happy to see the quality of the fabric and construction. I bought a pair of them for my living room. That evening, back in our London apt., I was examining them and was shocked to discover that the bottom edge actually had a zipper. It's so perfectly constructed that there's absolutely no sign of there being a zipper except for the tiny zipper pull where the price tag was attached.
They look fantastic in my living room and I couldn't be happier.
John Lewis was our favorite department store in London. We also bought beautiful wine glasses on the lower level that were 10 pounds less per glass than at a couple of the other big department stores.

Great quality - but no velvet!
Looks great on my leather John Byron chair! Not too bold, more shabby chic as others have said. Has a good quality feather cushion inside. BUT, be aware it does not come with a velvet back, its a beige fabric (same colour as the beige between on the flag front).

This cushion is a real cultural icon and works very well on our sofa. It is good quality with a really pleasing robust zip.

Really pleased with it but it SMELLS! Not a nice smell either, considering taking it back but feel a bit embarrased too. I ordered online and had to collect from a waitrose store as there is not a John Lewis near where I live.
