Knitting So few places to buy wool now - great to know John Lewis still has a good selection. And my 7 year old grandson asked me to teach him to knit when he saw me knitting! 28 May 2014
Soft and good value I've used rather a lot of this wool in cream and denim to crochet a blanket. It is wonderfully soft and nice to work with. My only complaint would be that the thickness of the wool isn't very uniform and varies quite a lot. This didn't cause me too much of a problem with a crocheted blanket, but might be an issue with a garment, where some areas would be slightly thinner than others. The dyes of some knitting wools look chemical and brash, but these are subtle and natural looking. All in all I would recommend this yarn. 21 March 2014
inaccurate description The navy and the black in this wool are described as 100% wool. They are not. They are only 50% wool so I am rather disappointed and will have to return them. 13 September 2013
Lovely until washed! I agree with other comments, lovely to work with & beautifully soft. BUT! Worn once and balls of fluff form and leave fibres all over everything else you're wearing. Washed at 30 degrees on 'gentle' the sweater has shrunk to half its size. Would not recommend. 01 May 2013
Really good wool! this wool is really soft & excellent quality - would definately recommend! 13 January 2013
Great price, great wool This was great wool for the price. Would definitely buy again. 03 January 2013
fantastic beautifully soft and lovely to work with. Very good value for money- will certainly purchase again. 17 December 2012
Lovely wool This is a lovely soft wool in a beautiful colour. I am only part way through making a little jumper, and it's a pleasure to knit with. 17 November 2012
