Comfortable desk This desk is great, solid state without any wobbles, also easy to put together, its suited for a taller person. Only con is that it doesn't work well with Optical Mice as it has a glass top although this is standard with any Optical mouse. 22 November 2012

Modern, funky and easy to dust! We bought this desk for my son's room who insisted on black high gloss furniture. Although initially out of stock, it arrived promptly with an excellent delivery service. My husband assembled the product which was better than I had remembered. It is so very easy to clean. The desk is deep enough for text books, exercise books, lamp and laptop. Together with the John Lewis black gloss chair on castors it looks really great and we are very happy. 10/10 for John Lewis whole package. 27 September 2012

Minimalist Black Saw this in the store and thought it looked great, clean lines and just the right size for what I wanted. Once installed in my study it doesn't disappoint, matches well with other black high gloss furniture and is just the right scale. Disappointed I was left to unpack and assemble it myself especially when the excellent JL drivers assembled other items a few days earlier, however it was a minor hassle taking less than an hour by one person - worth reading the instructions first though! 30 July 2012

Nice New Desk I wanted a new desk for my flat. Saw this in a JL shop and thought it looked a bit unusual and smart. Ordered online. Usual JL delivery, on time, nice man etc. Easy to assemble, very solid when finished and very pleased with it. Nice item at a very sensible price. 11 April 2012

stylish and good quality been looking for new desk as work from home but hadn't space for normal office size desk, found this to be perfect as has the depth and is still a decent width, easy to put together and is really sturdy, plus looks very stylish, real value for money 23 March 2012

Great Desk I saw this product in a John Lewis store and was immediately impressed by its sleek design and sturdyness and not least for what appeared to be a very reasonable price. It now takes pride of place in my study. It looks great, is stable and solid and looks a lot better than many desks which come with a much higher price tag. Ideally it does need two people working together to assemble it as the instructions tell you but that is no hardship given that it is a good quality product which if much lighter would probably wobble. 21 March 2012
