John Lewis Jelly Beans Rug
It's attractive ... for a while
When we first bought this rug (240x170 size), I thought it was beautiful. However, it has faded so badly - the colours that were once vibrant are now faded and muted.
I really wouldn't recommend it for rooms that get a good amount of sunlight. And JLP should really make this clear. We have rugs in other bright areas of our house that were far less expensive and have fared much better.

Jelly bean rug
I bought this product only a year ago and have found the quality to be very poor :( the colours have faded, the non slip mat has split on the edges and the pile has lost the quality feel. For the price I wouldn't buy this item or a rug from John Lewis again.

Love this rug!
I absolutely love this rug! I love the vibrant colours and the texture. It reminds me of proddy/rag rugs that my mum used to make. It is soft underfoot and thick. Fits in my living room perfectly.

Really glad we brought it!
We looked at these rugs online a few weeks beforehand. So when we visited Cardiff for a break,we went into a JL store and decided to check the rugs out.We chose a colour that suited the room we wanted to put the rug in and brought one home.Quality is superb! So soft to walk on and cushiony!I absolutely love this rug and and now thinking of buying a larger one for another room.Looks great, stylish and cosy!I love JL stores!

Vey happy with this rug
I am very happy with this rug - the only reason I give it 4 stars not 5 is that the tones are a lot more muted in real life.
I have plain walls with bright accessories and this fits in a treat! Good size that makes our room fell more like a home.
Very easy to order on line and pick up at a Waitrose store 5 miles away - brilliant service that I use time and time again

I spent ages choosing a rug for my living room. Finally I decided on this jelly bean rug based on the one I had seen in the showroom and on the website as it was fun , colourful and I felt would really go with my eclectic decor. However I was very disappointed when I rolled out the rug, as were my family who restrained comments until I finally conceded it looked awful and they then joined in a chorus of how horrible it was . The colours appeared washed out , the wool poorly and unevenly dyed and the seemingly random distribution of colours appeared mathematical and regular to point of distraction . I am a felt maker as a hobby and there is no excuse for this other than sloppy production in my view.
On the positive side the rug was well constructed and sturdy and felt curiously comforting under feet .
However It went straight back to JL .

Just what we wanted!
We found the rug while looking around our local John Lewis in Welwyn Garden City on the Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately, it was not in stock in the size that we wanted, so at the stores suggestion, we checked on line that evening, ordered it and arranged to collect it from Waitrose on Sunday afternoon , whilst doing our grocerys shop. Perfect, and just what we wanted!

Lovely addition to our living room
My husband and I saw this in store in MK, and both of us really liked it. As we were replacing our sofas, the only decision to be made was which colour to have. Once our sofas were delivered and we chose to order the beige rug online and it proved to be the perfect combination.
