The John Lewis JLDWS1226 is a triple A-rated dishwasher, in a delectable stainless steel finish.

This machine uses just 13L of water on a standard cycle and offers 5 wash programmes, including:

Bio 50° wash with pre-rinse
Intensive 70°C wash to remove stubborn stains
Auto programme which balances temperature and time to provide optimum wash results
A useful 30 minute Quick wash option
plus a Rinse hold, which can be useful if you don't have a full load and don't want food debris to create odour or harden on plates and utensils.

With room to take up to 12 place settings, the JLDWS1226 has a well-designed interior and flexible configuration of baskets and racks. An Active Drying System provides fast, efficient steam drying - so no more reaching for that towel.

Meanwhile, the illuminated LED display shows the time remaining, and you can also delay the start time by up to 19 hours to fit the washing around your busy lifestyle. Although with your new dishwasher you’ll have a bit more time on your hands...

looking good So far very satisfied with this dishwasher. It fits in perfectly with the rest of the stainless steel look of the kitchen and is sleek and stylish. Has a good choice of cycles and was easy to install. The cutlery basket is much more roomy than my last dishwasher which is an added bonus and there is plenty of room for plates though I am still working on how to maximise use of space on the top rack. Overall please with the product. Also opted to take out the extended guarantee which was sold at a reasonable price. 10 January 2013

Disappointing This is my fith dishwasher over a 30 year period and by far the most disappointing. This washer cannot fulfill even the basic function of cleaning a tea stained cup. with all previous dishwashers of.varying quality and price range crockery has been sparkling this however in the mid price range is a mediocre wash. The lay out is poor the internal racks flimsy but the most disappointing feature is the poor quality of wash at the end of a cycle. My advice would be to purchase a different product. My last machine was a Miele I have had 4 different makes all with differing strengths and weaknesses, all better than this machine. Avoid, I was dubious however a friend convinced me and of course the John Lewis name however this machine does not live up to the quality expected from the brand. 29 December 2012

good product Looks really nice and is beautifully quiet. The only criticism is the top rack is quite hard to stack, even when I followed manufacturers recommendation. Needed to remove glass holders on one side to provide enough space. Otherwise cleans really well. 12 September 2012

Do not buy! Purchased this dishwasher, on first wash the machine was leaking from under the door not from the back pipes. No problem faulty item may occur. Replaced it by ordering a second one. First wash same leak even worse. Do not buy this item they are obsviously a bad batch. Had to order a Siemens instead. Still waiting for delivery . Hopefully this third dishwasher will be flawless... 05 September 2012

Good value for money!! I was pleased with the purchase, it washes excellently on a quick cycle, but the longer cycles take a bit longer than my old machine, so tend to use the quick wash more often. I liked the three year warranty, that gives peace of mind. 10 August 2012

Shame Washes beautifully. However. Unfortunately two rows of mugs or glasses on top shelf do not fit. Having problems fitting dinner plates in as they fall over. Cereal bowls and tea plates also do not stand properly. Purchased as matches other John Lewis appliances, reputation and guarantee. Feel the design internally is poor. This is my third dishwasher and have not had this problem before. And the plastic film is a total nightmare to remove. Still finding bits after a week! 03 July 2012
