John Lewis Kensington Bureau, Oak/Walnut

Product information

The Kensington bureau is made with solid oak handles and legs, while the exterior oak veneers and interior walnut veneers provide an attractive, but subtle contrast effect. 3 drawers, 1 filing drawer, one cupboard door and drop down flap provide a wealth of useful storage space and the latter can be used as a worktop for laptops and tablets.

Q & As

John Lewis Kensington Bureau, Oak/Walnut 4 5 1 1
An excellent and useful piece of furniture. I bought this bureau on-line and am delighted with it. It is very suited to a smallish flat being compact and unobtrusive. it is solid and well made with, mostly good attention to detail. It is a well thought out and complete office in miniature and is ideal for the considerable amount of administrative work that I do for a charitable organisation. The only flaw has been the lack of adjustment in the feet which means that I have had to wedge it up to compensate for a run in the floor; were it not for that I would have given it five stars. Incidentally, customers have to fit the feet themselves and that requires two people to lift it into position and also they need to have a drill and so forth to fix it to the wall to avoid toppling over. 12 March 2014
