The Kerala 2 door wardrobe is made from solid rubberwood and rubberwood veneers, with a rich cherry lacquer for an understated, colonial look.

Grain detailing and occasional knotting adds to the authentic character, while dovetailed drawers on wooden runners, display a high level of craftsmanship. It is also fitted with a hanging rail. Coordinate with other pieces from the Kerala bedroom furniture range to give your bedroom the perfect finishing touch.

Class Having shopped around alot, I always returned to John Lewis for this piece of Class. Solid build, plenty of space, perfect colour. The main difference from all others is, this is built to last! Beautiful furniture Some self assembly required and you definitely need more than 1 pair of hands as this is solidly built...not a bad thing! Looks beautiful in the room and we've had nothing but compliments about it to date. Delivery staff helpful, friendly and considerate. Very pleased. 25 June 2011

This product did not entirely live up to our expectations We bought this wardrobe for two reasons: spaciousness and elegant look. It arrived ready to be assembled, but there were a few small scratches on the wood which did show once we had assembled it. After about ten days, we noticed that the right hand door had dropped or settled into place, so that in order to open it without damaging the wardrobe, it is necessary to lift the door knob slightly to allow the door to open without it rubbing against the bottom of the door frame. The wardrobe looks lovely and is spacious, as we had hoped it would be, but for a piece of furniture at that price, we would have expected better finishing and no marks on the wood at delivery. 20 June 2011
