Lovely little desk Fit perfectly in loft space. No problem to put it up. 20 May 2013

Disappointed with quality For brand and costs the product is disappointing. Quality poor, veneer edges scraggy, veneer on one leg had peeled off on unpacking, I have since stuck it down. I normally enjoy putting furniture packs together and have quite a lot of experience. This was unpleasant, holes were not aligned, edges of parts not aligned and Allen key got rounded edges quickly so had to use another. But as I need to get room ready for guest, and I can't face going through rigmarole of returning it and waiting for delivery, I'll hang on to it. The only positive is that the design is great and looks good in place. 12 April 2013

Frustrated and disappointedFixings didn't work- Really disappointed. The fixings were poor. Corner fasteners didn't tighten. Its going back 20 March 2013

Badly engineered This is a good looking functional piece of furniture, but as others have commented the fittings are difficult to master. I had to return my first one as there was a chunk out of the chipboard on the rear of the pre-assembled top unit which had worked into a crack in the melamine on the front which could be seen (we have the white version). On both occasions the assembly was tricky in that none of the pre-drilled bore holes quite line up, so three out of four screws go in, but not the last. It just means the finished version is not properly jointed. The small alum key supplied with the unit doesn't allow the leverage you need fully to tighten the screws and some of the tightening bolts do not go in straight. The supplier could do with some tips from Ikea which seems to get its engineering right nowadays. 02 March 2013

love my new desk! waited for this desk to come back in stock for a few weeks, and it really was worth the wait! took two of us only about 30 minutes to assemble and I spent the whole weekend at this wonderful desk! it provides for a great working space, whether you are studying or doing paperwork and the little hatch shelves really help to keep things tidy and organised. I would thoroughly recommend this lovely piece to anyone, especially at such fantastic price! 30 December 2012
