The picture for colour green is misleading! Ordered after seeing the picture for green hood. Seeing the photo I thought it is yellow to be honest. Only when I open the order did I realise that it is actually lime green! very disappointed by the online misleading photo!!! 28 May 2013

Rough finish shows when lit I was really pleased when this product arrived, it fits the base we bought it for well, and looks really nice. However, when the lamp is lit, the light shows off the quite rough finishing at the base of the lamp - an uneven, dark shadow is cast by the uneven cut and paste of the shade to its frame. It makes it look cheap and untidy. 22 April 2013

Useful, necessary and economical product These lampshades are as my title says a: "useful, necessary and economical product " which when compared with those available from other shops, stand out as being far superior. 23 January 2013

Returned item Advertised as a ceiling light shade, it is in fact a table lampshade, therefore had to be returned. 05 January 2013

Cute shade. Nice lampshade and very good value for a good product but it was too small for our lampbase and this was for reason for return. 15 December 2012

misleading photo I hate doing this as I normally find John Lewis a great store to buy from but not this time. The problem, the photo shows a lampshade on a pendant light. I ordered 4 20cm shades noting that they did not have a reversible gimbel but assuming that as the photo showed a pendant light this would be ok for my pendant lights. Not so the 20cm shades are for standing lamps. I paid for express delivery (next day). The useless items didn't arrive until 18.30 which was useless for my purposes ( photos of the house for going on the market) Ok technically this was still next day but as I don't get the postage refunded for these useless items and I have to go to the expense of returning them (not helped by the fact I am way out in the countryside)I am really reallly unhappy. 12 October 2012
