Please note: This is a natural product, which will therefore always have a slight odour. This can be reduced by airing the product out for at least 48 hours prior to use. New products will have a stronger odour due to it being inside packaging for a period of time, but will gradually decrease over a few days.

This range of naturally filled duvets and pillows is now housed in Nomite marked casing: a first for the UK market. The tight weave of the cover fabric ensures no down or feathers can escape, whilst it provides an effective barrier against dust mites. This means that these ranges are suitable for house-dust-mite-allergy and asthma sufferers. Supported by scientific research, our market leading casing gives everyone the opportunity to enjoy the multiple benefits of natural fillings.

Q & As

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 52 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by true luxury This was a replacement as the one in the box which we had taken home was dirty, secondhand and not even the correct duvet!. It was replaced immediately in store. However It is so good now having the right size duvet. Should have bought one years ago. Moral is always check your goods in store even in boxes! 11 November 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderfully soft and fluffy really warm, light and soft. Well worth the money. Cotton cover is soft as well. Keeps you warm but does not feel heavy as it is so light. Give it a shake and it is ready to go - no evidence of settling into a flat quilt like some I have had. 10 November 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Light and warm! I have had this duvet for about 2 months and absolutely love it.It is really lightweight and very warm and cosy. I've not had any problems at all with down escaping. 02 November 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Feathers everywhere We've had this duvet 9 month now and have been hoping things would get better, but the quantity of small feathers that come out of the duvet (and covers) is disturbing. In the morning our pyjamas are covered in tiny white feathers and we are worried we are inhaling them while we sleep. On top of that we have to vacuum the room so often. As with the other reviews here, we expected to be getting a good quality product from John Lewis but there is no way we can recommend buying this duvet. 20 September 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by John Lewis Luxury Hungarian Goose Down Duvet, 13.5 Tog This is a seriously lovely duvet. Soft and warm and luxurious. If you have the money to buy such a good quality duvet then it is well worth it. 16 September 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Nice product It's really nice but still have some small feather come out! May be next time try the Siberia 30 August 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Hugely disappointed We recently purchased this duvet but are hugely disappointed with it. Lots of the down escapes each time the covers are changed. The down also tends to gather at the bottom of the duvet leaving it thin and cold on top and requires significant shaking on a daily basis. We purchased from John Lewis having previously bought all our bedding there and were extremely happy with it; and it is still looking good after 7 years. This new, and more expensive purchase is a huge let down - what has happened to the quality at John Lewis.....this was the one place you could always be assured of getting a high quality product 08 June 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Long term disappointment Purchased in September 2011 this duvet was fabulous for the first winter. Since then it has become increasingly cold and we now use a heavyweight blanket on top to be warm enough. At 13.5 TOG it should be warm enough, but even in summer we still use a throw. Given the price tag I fully expected it to be a winter duvet for a good ten years or more. Very disappointed with this product. 06 May 2015
