Part of the John Lewis Made in England collaboration, Sloane Street are leather Chelsea boots made by NPS Shoes, a Northamptonshire company that has been hand-crafting footwear since 1881.

Their hallmarks include sturdy Goodyear welted soles and truly timeless styling, all of which they've carried over to this exclusive ladies' collection.

These round toe ankle boots feature the elasticated sides characteristic of the Chelsea boot, making them easy to slip on and off and comfortable to wear. The block heels are 2cm high, with leather lining and Goodyear welted leather soles.

Goodyear welting involves stitching the sole to a welt section as opposed to cementing the sole to the upper. It extends the lifespan of the shoes and provides a more comfortable wear.
