Slightly different colour to what I was expecting I thought I really liked this rug when viewing it online. However, when it arrived it seemed much browner than I was expecting. I bought a lovely Harlequin rug instead. I can't fault John Lewis's service in delivering and collecting it, which was as good as ever. 24 February 2013

John Lewis Multi Stripe Rug This is such a lovely rug I would highly recommend it. When I ordered it I was a bit concerned that the colours may appear too bright in our room - but the colours are beautiful earthy tones and complement the room perfectly. Sophisticated bargain A new engineered wood floor needed something to break the monotony of the timber and a rug was an obvious remedy. This has an attractive, contemporary design, with asymmetrical stripes and a subtle mix of colour. It looks just fine, understated but contrasted with the floor.
