design fault nice heavy product BUT it is held in place by a tiny screw which levers against the main screw fitting, the holder continuallly losens! Have had great difficulty fitting this item which will now sadly have to be returned! 24 March 2013

Very poorly designed Not only is the little grub screw too small (and difficult to get at to tighten) - as already reviewed, the screw fixing of the arm on mine is loose and now hangs at an angle so the roll keeps falling off. It will be going back to John Lewis - and I'll be getting another one from Argos! Pity it won't match the rest of the range in the bathroom - which I am pleased with. 16 May 2012

Very disappointing indeed Bought this holder a while back and after a few months on the wall I have had to take it down! Cannot get the little screw to hold tight and secured. This holder is in the downstairs loo where it gets used by the whole family plus visitors and kids and although to looks good, it is not cut out for heavy use. Will try to return although I do not have my receipt any longer. Can Customer Services advise on this issue. Thank you. 05 May 2012

Disappointed I bought this product because it had a five year guarantee but rust started appearing after ten months not a good buy. 13 January 2012

Disappointing! Looks good but the problem is that it relies on one tiny grub screw to tighten the unit to the wall plate and given the leverage caused by the 'L-shape' this is simply not enough. I do not think it is possible to tighten sufficiently to make the unit secure for ordinary use. This is going back! 30 November 2011
