John Lewis New Microfibre and Memory Foam Standard Pillow
Just what the doctor ordered!
Has helped my wife's neck problem, but we did find the smell was a little overpowering at first despite not using the pillow for 24 hours.

I wasn't expecting the pillow to be made up of two completely separate sections. The memory foam layer was too thin and overall the pillow was too thin, giving me neckache. It is not suitable for a side sleeper

I wasn't sleeping too well, I had tried the memory pillows and they didn't work for me,I was still waking with a stiff neck. I spent some time with the John Lewis representative and after trying out various options I settled for this pillow and have not been disappointed.
I think that because this pillow is a mixture of memory and micro fibre it gives me the solution I needed, some support without being too firm. I can honestly say that I have been sleeping better.
I have been very pleased with my purchase.

I purchased this pillow for my partner who suffers from allergies to dust mites etc.
Since using this pillow she sleeps sounder without coughing and sneezing through the night. We already have a memory mattress which is great, so this was a useful addition. Recommended product as it also has a washable cover.

After a couple of months one of the pillow split and both became flat and you cant fluff them up.
Am having to buy new pillows to replace them

Loses shape after few months
Purchased 2 of these pillows after reading the other review. At first was happy with pillows as the memory foam offered the support needed. Unfortunately now after around 8 months of alternate use the memory foam is too soft which results in waking with headache and neck pain. Back to the drawing board I guess for another solution.

Finally, Goldilocks finds a "just right" pillow
I have never written an online review, but I felt I must for this pillow. I have been an on/off insomniac my whole life, so have spent a lot of time researching and spending a fortune on pillows which still aren't right
Memory foam is too hard for me (like sleeping on a brick, and gives me a headache), feather and microfibre too soft, unless I have two, and then they're too high... you get the picture.
This pillow is the perfect combination - the benefit of memory foam for support, and the softness of microfibre. My head sinks in but is fully supported. It is the perfect height, no other pillow required. I am actually falling straight to sleep for one of the first times in my life.
You can even turn it over and have the memory foam underneath, to have a softer pillow, but I like the support of the foam side.
Not too hot, not too cold, It is SOOO comfy. End the quest for the perfect pillow and buy this one.

I can't believe this product is supposed to be like this!
I have had this pillow for a few months now and have now given up! Why it is called a memory pillow I don't know, it doesn't have to remember anything because it is so hard your head doesn't dent it for it to remember!! On reading the reviews so far I think the main characteristic of someone who might be pleased would be "sleeps like a log". Sadly I am a fairly light sleeper who also likes to sleep with their head quite high. Total waste of a lot of money for me and anyone else who does not sleep like a log!
