OK, it's a money box... but it is a rather nice one! I saw this gift as a way to encourage saving, but also as a slightly better quality stocking stuffer. I haven't had any feedback from my grandson on this, but he was extremely happy with his pirate ship! Money boxes would find it hard to compete, I expect. But I was happy with it as a gift idea! 06 January 2013

Noah's Ark Money Box Pleased with this product. It looked classy and would sit nicely on dressing table or shelf. As it was a christening present for a baby, I had a silver plaque engraved with baby's name and date of christening made up, and there was plenty of room on the top of the money box for this to be attached. 28 December 2012

1st birthday gift What do you get for my beautiful grandaughter's 1st birthday She already has numerous soft toys etc Scrolling thro the John Lewis web site I came across this money box Perfect ! With its modelled animals peering from portholes in the sides and its shiny smooth finnish it would appeal to a young child although it may be a few years before its full potential is realised (for saving pocket money) The only criticism is the flimsy stopper that could easily get broken or lost 1 1 15 December 2012

Beautiful product Ordered this following the birth of our son, Noah as a keepsake and a welcome to the world gift. This a beautifully made item that we can treasure and add to as our son grows up 02 December 2012

Ideal gift for baptism of our grandaughter We wanted something that our grandaughter could keep and this was a good choice for a nearly 2 year old. The design is such that even when older this will still be something she can treasure. It was really nicely made and at a price we wanted to pay. Also by being able to purchase on line it saved the necessity of travelling into Leicester or Nottingham. 27 November 2012

A lovely item, difficult to engrave apparently Really nice item, looks absolutely amazing. However, I took it to two different engravers, both were unable to engrave it due to the awkward shape meaning it was not possible to grip it securely in their vice. 26 November 2012
