John Lewis Photograph Album, Green / Tan
QUALITY CLASSIC ALBUM
Having decided that all my old photo's which were scattered all over the house needed to be kept together in a quality album. I spent weeks sorting out my photo's which date back to 1890 to the present day. I wanted to hand to my grand children memories of their late relatives which they in turn could pass on to their children. In todays age of digital photo's I feel our past heritage will be lost.
These albums are beautifully made in soft leather and have 50 pages which will hold 600, 6x4 photo's if the front and back of each page is filled. I'm now on my 4th album and i'm sure that the quality of these albums will last for a very long time and bring emmence pleasure to future generations. Oh the photos have to be fixed to the page by sticky corners which in my opinion is the best as you do not have to stick to any format and you can arrange a variety of photo sizes. A super album

This is the only type of album I ever use, I have just started my fourth and the other three go back almost twenty years. Each album covers about six or seven years worth of pictures.
These are heirloom quality albums and I hope to hand mine down to my children when I die. I don't understand why anyone would buy anything else, I know that they are expensive but they are worth every penny. Looking through these albums in the years to come you will realise that it was money well spent. Don't waist your money buying anything less.

This album is the only traditional album I have found which can hold six 4x6 inch prints per page comfortably with room to write comments. I hate those self adhesive albums that seem ubiquitous- they never look nice for long and the clear plastic often parts company from the adhesive board to let the contents fall out. Slip in albums are not very versatile- you can;t combine landscape with portrait formats on the same page. With a traditional album you can mount photos, maps, tickets, menus, postcards, leaflets- in fact all the memorabilia from a treasured holiday or trip or experience. Why do people tolerate inferior products? And why don't John Lewis shops stock these albums any more? They are not cheap but worth it if you are going to keep them a lifetime and they become family heirlooms.

Classic Large Album
This classic green and tan leather photograph album will hold any size of print up to 14" X 14", positioned using either photo corners allowing the photographs to be easily removed or more permanently with photo mounts. The sturdy cover protects 100 ivory pages each with an acid free interleaf between each page. It is available in one other size which has 100 pages to fit any size of APS photograph. Suited for any special occasion, e.g. weddings, anniversaries, special birthday or even that trip of a lifetime or special event like graduation.
