Q & As

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 38 reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not so lucky with the second cot bed I have two of these cot beds. First one I bought 2011 and I have taken it apart and put back together several times with no problems. Now a toddler bed and works fine. The second cot bed I bought in 2013, I have had to take it apart twice (we moved house) and the rail/wood has split down the side and also I noticed that there are some errors with the drilling holes (my husband put it together the first time so I never noticed). I am due another baby this week and was thinking of buying another, but not so sure now. Nice cot bed but beware of faults. 19 July 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Rachel cotbed Nice looking cotbed , sturdy and value for money. It takes 2 people to assemble as the base needs supported while the ends are attached so it's a bit fiddly but achievable therefore I have given it 4 stars rather than 5. 10 June 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Highly recommended i've used this cot (and cot bed) for the last 3 years and I've got no complaints. It's reasonably priced and looks good. It was easy to convert into a cot bed. However I want to convert the cotbed back to a cot and I've lost the screws. It would be really helpful if I could obtain an extra set otherwise I'll need to buy a new cot. 30 May 2015

Rated 1 out of 5 by Terrible quality So excited to buy this product, awful awful awful mistake!!!! Missing parts, hard to assemble and not very sturdy ....had to tighten the screws time and time agiain as baby daughter has grown..... And matteres which was recommended to get with it? Cover has split after 9 months? Whiile in kingston branch of JL trying to but daughters first shoes? I also asked about what our options were and abrubptly told we don't have any as our daughter had been sleeping in it for over 6 months? And they also measured her feet incorrectly , twice...,terrible service and won't be going back. 16 March 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by value for money I brought this cot/bed having done various research with JL and other companies. It was easy to order although missed my requested pre paid delivery spot but I was informed by the friendly delivery man that I would receive a refund. The cot was simple to put together although a bit fiddly so you definitely need two people. If you tighten the bolts too much the paint cracks so don't be heavy handed. There were a few dents in the wood but you can see this was prior to being painted so unless your up close you don't notice. Im expecting my baby in a few weeks so im reviewing purely on build and quality. I would recommend this cot 01 January 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good, but would expect better from JL Overall the cot is good, however the components are not great - the bolts have dents in them and some are damaged. However, nothing that stops you from assembling it. The side of ours also has black specks of paint on it (the cot is white), so we may have to turn that side to face the wall. 11 November 2014
