Q & As

Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 27 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful bedding! I absolutely love this bedding. It has such a subtle design with a very calming colour combination. It looks sophisticated and far more expensive than it is. It has a very delicate sheen which adds to the feeling of quality. This really is John Lewis design at its best. 15 March 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by The best duvet cover I've bought Bought 2 sets, one in duck egg blue and the other in a mocha colour, about 5 years ago and just love them. They wash like a dream and iron well and look lovely on the bed. It says not to tumble dry so I never have. Perhaps some people have and that's why they said the duvets crease a lot. My favourite colour is the mocha but for some reason JL doesn't sell this colour any more. I would buy them again if they ever wear out or start to look faded or old. They are worth the money as mine still look good 5 years on 20 October 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful bedding This is beautiful bedding. Lovely colour with subtle pattern. A dream to sleep in - literally! 13 October 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not for the faint hearted Gorgeous colour and feel - but a complete nightmare regarding the crease factor, even after steam ironing it looks almost as bad, it's such a shame as it really is a lovely set that feels gorgeous and in very pretty subtle colours that ends up so creased it ends up looking like a dishcloth no matter how you iron it. 29 September 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Always looks creased Liked the colour, pattern and feel of the duvet cover but does not matter how well I iron it never looks good. Always looks like it has been screwed up in a ball and thrown on the bed which is a shame as I like the bedding. Did intend to buy another set but won't be as it irritates me every time I look at it. 27 August 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful bedding Bought one of these many years ago but later changed decor so packed it away.Recently decorated another room with twin beds in and was so pleased this design was still available.Fabulous quality and timeless 28 July 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great quality. Good price Excellent quality cotton bedding. Minimum crease. Arived promptly as usual 14 April 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Plain side shrinks I purchased 2 duvet covers about 18 months ago and love the colour and soft feel of the fabric. However, the plain backing does shrink over time, and one cover is worse than the other. I've only tumbled dried these a couple of times on low setting because they crease easily. They are better line dried but still difficult to iron because the backing fabric has shrunk. The covers must be steam ironed. 20 December 2014
