When selling a product which requires 8 imbus screws and 4 wood screws, it would help if the pack was checked to make sure the right number of pieces are included. We have 7 of the 8, which is very, very tedious.
Rather than being able to send out the missing piece the solution to this problem is apparently for me to return the kit to JL and for a new one to be dispatched, or for me to be refunded the replacement cost of the missing part. Needless to say the screw is not labelled in any way to make finding a replacement possible.

Bought to hold the Moba moses basket & it fits perfectly. Only a slight rocking action, which should be ample for a little one. Can also be made static by twisting the feet provided. Looks lovely, very pleased.

Very upset at the service from John Lewis this stand was a present for my daughter who is expecting a baby. They opened the box and there were no instructions or screws. After several days and emails from me John Lewis rang back and said they had emailed the suppliers. When I said that is not good enough we need this stand as the baby is due. He said "Look I have done my best". The basket and the stand will be going back and I will go elsewhere for them.

I'm really not sure where to start!
We have nothing but problems with John Lewis, so I personally would have avoided this product like the plague. However it was bought for us as a gift, so I was prepared to be open minded.
Firstly there was a big dent in the frame. After deciding that this didn't really matter too much we discovered there were no instructions...
Never mind I thought...it can't be too difficult to put together. Only it is because there aren't enough screws. Obviously i don't know how many there should be (as there are no instructions) but at a guess i'd say minimum 8, maximum 16. We have 4. There are 4 poles that need screws on each end, so that definitely can't be right.
There also appears to be a part that doesn't belong in the box! This is what can only be described as a metallic cupboard door handler. Not having instructions/a picture I had to google a picture of the product. It doesn't appear to have a cupboard door for the handle to be needed!
It would be laughable but I have to take my heavily pregnant wife over the Dartford bridge 2 weeks before christmas to take it back. Thanks John Lewis

We liked that it can have a solid base or can rock side to side, it is safe & stable either way. Furthermore, the straps are adjustable so that which ever moses basket you choose you know it will fit securely into the base.

The concept is good but it does not 'rock' in a smooth fashion.
My main complaint here, however, is that upon getting the product home and building it (it is flat-pack/self-assembly) the components did not fit together properly.

We bought this stand for the Emile Et Rose Moses Basket and it does the job, happy so far with it. The assembly was easy. It doesn't rock much on the carpet but that's fine - it feels safe.
