Very good quality but rather overpriced for what it is.
Unless you want a wood effect foil covered particle board creation from a well known flat pack company, there is actually very little choice in the market which is why we settled for this product. The dimensions are perfect for our situation.
The product is well described so we were not disappointed when it arrived (although the delivery staff did not unpack it and remove the packaging as another reviewer said).
My only reservation would be; if you are a shoe size much more than 10, you may run into trouble. My size 10 Clarkes strollers only just go in without putting them at an angle. This is a bit annoying as there is actually plenty of height available (large space underneath) If they had just made the drawer 2 or 3 cms taller it would have been much easier fit.
But the quality is very good. The main boards are oak veneered, only the frame is solid oak.

Well designed piece of Furniture
Really pleased with this piece of furniture, it does what it 's designed to do store shoes away in a tidy manner. It looks good in the Conservatory and stores the gardening shoes away.
Delivered on time, delivery team unpacked it and took away the packaging, great service!! really impressed.

Lovely piece of furniture
Lovely solid piece of furniture, looks really good in the hall and fits just nicely into an alcove, the light wood also really makes the room look brighter. The shoe storage space is quite compact - fine for ladies but hard to fit men's shoes in!
The delivery was excellent with a phonecall shortly beforehand to let me know the driver was on his way which was really helpful.
Really pleased with both the product and the service.

A Real Booty!
We are really pleased with this shoe bench, we can fit all our shoes inside without any problems and the drop down hinged front doors are easy to operate when sitting on the bench. My Father in Law is getting on and the bench is a perfect hight for him to change his shoes. The bench is is just the right dimensions for our entrance hall and matches our light oak floor. The Shoe Bench was a real find and fits our space and decor perfectly

Damaged Goods
The item arrived on time at 7.00 am to be precise. The product lay in my hallway for over a week in its packaged box. No damage to the box but when I did get around to opening the box, the bench's flip cabinet door was broken,completely hanging off with a broken mechanism. The base had a big 15cm crack in it .So if you do purchase open as soon as it is delivered & check so you can send it straight back with the delivery guys. The actual product looks better on the internet then it is. The top of the bench is not solid Oak . A bit expensive for what it is really.Not as strong as I thought it would be. Anyway got my money back. Customer service was good & delivery guys were pleasant.
Probably just my bad luck.

Good choice
This product is well made, very solid and does the job. It perhaps does not make best use of space internally, but the description given on capacity is correct. Glead we purchased it

Looks great in the hallway!
Nice and solid, looks great in the hallway and handy to sit on when putting on your shoes. Only downside is the size and number of shoes you can store in it.
