Does the job well. Worth the price. The only negative point is that the central metal ring becomes hot and should have been made of a different material so it could be pulled out of the saucepan easily. 16 November 2012

does it exactly what it says it does bought this to replace a plastic steamer basket. this is versatile fiting more pan sizes and makes for more efficient cooking of vegetables 27 July 2012

useful & fold away Always handy to be able to steam vegetables.This steamer folds away therefore takes up little storage space.The down side is that it slides down into saucepan sitting on top of bottom layer of veg,usually potatoes. 09 May 2012
