John Lewis Striped Travel Stroller, Multicoloured
John Lewis Striped Travel Stroller
Attractive stroller. Easy clean material. Simple open and shut with one hand. Front wheels can be taken off for easy storage. Seat is roomy and strong. Handles are comfy and a nice height for average person. The swivel wheels makes life easy. I would recommend this product as value for money..

Not suitable for tall people
Love the stroller. First time we used it was for a day out in London - perfect: light-weight, easy to fold and carry when on the tube/overground trains.
However, at 5'9" I think it is too small. It would be perfect if the handles came up higher.
Also, the bar used to collapse it when folding it up is *slightly* awkward to get to, as a plastic strap on the break bar gets in the way.
For the price, I would recommend it (as long as you are no taller than 5'9).

Lightweight / easy to use but ...
My Mother-in-law bought this buggy to push our 18 month old in when they go for a quick walk and for that use this buggy is perfect!
However, we took this on holiday with us to Cornwall and while it fitted in the car and was easy to use - I have to agree with a fellow reviewer below and give it only 3 stars because:-
1) It was hard to keep our little one dry without 'plonking' our bugaboo rain cover on top of her which she didn't like and kept pushing it off
2) The handles are really low down and it hurt your back to push it after a while, being hunched over. In fact our 4 year old was at a better height to push it around and did so quite often (with supervision of course!). However we are a tall family (DH 6.5 and I am nearly 6 ft). So if you were shorter I don't think you would have a problem. Otherwise it works perfectly and is a good nip around buggy.

Excellent travel buggy
Bought this as we needed a lightweight buggy for our 3 yr old when we went to Italy. Very pleased with this simple no nonsense buggy. It was indeed lightweight and could be carried in one hand whilst holding on to said toddler with the other. Also very robust and despite its weight restriction held up when our 6 yr old gave up in Pompeii and climbed on in. excellent buy.

For grannies who have to climb steps with their buggy.
I have a big flight of steps outside the front door, so it is essential that my buggy is lightweight. This buggy is ideal. I can lift it (unoccupied) with my little finger.
I only do a low mileage , about 5 miles a week. My granddaughter loves riding in it.
I bought a foot muff for the winter. A rain hood and plastic see through rain cover would make it too heavy, so I have made it a light nylon rain cover out of an old anorak , which I tie behind the buggy by the sleeves. Then I put a small umbrella up, over my granddaughter's head.
In the early eighties you could buy a lightweight nylon shower proof cover attached by ties or Velcro , with an elasticated hood for the child. It weighed only a few ounces, and could be rolled higher up the handles while not in use. While not quite as effective as the current rain covers, it still enabled the buggy to be folded easily into a compact unit and had the huge advantage of being light in weight. I would like to see these available again.

This is a very handy travel pushchair but check your child in it first! Our grandson is 14 months and fills the chair so will only be useful for a short while. Ideal for a couple of holidays as it is light and quite well made for the price.

We bought this product specifically for air travel last year. It is lightweight and very easy to put up and collapse. It can be carried in one hand, leaving your other hand free to hold your child's. We used it on four short haul and four long haul flights last year and it was sturdy and indispensable. As there is still so much life left in it, we keep it in the back of the car for shopping trips, etc instead of our pram.

Brilliant for the price
I was doubtful about buying this buggy because i wasn't sure about the style however it has been a great buy for the price.
Ideal for holidays - survived the cobbled streets of Portugal and the travellng twice. Folds very compact as compared to other buggies and is very lightweight.
I would agree with some other reviews that the downsides are that it has no cover for use un the rain and no options to adjust the recline.
I would highly recommend this product.
