Poor conductor! Like another reviewer on this page, I have found this pan to be a very poor buy. It doesn't work!! It conducts heat very poorly indeed. The only bit that cooks is the food that is directly over the gas ring underneath. It is light weight yes, but I am finally giving it to the bin and learning from my mistake. Cheap is not always good!! 09 May 2013

Warning - dangerous product! I rarely send reviews but, after the glass lid of our pan suddenly imploded whilst cooking a family meal, I feel I should warn others as the pan was only 14 months old. It was not scratched or damaged in any way so we had no reason to think that this would happen. It just shattered! - there was so much glass everywhere, thank goodness we don't have small children or pets and even then two of us suffered cuts whilst clearing it all up! It was surreal and quite shocking - be warned!! 02 February 2013

Fantastic pan This is the best purchase ever. It's really is not stick and the lid fits really well so you can leave it simmering without steaming going everywhere. Also the pan handles and the lids stay cool. I have been so impresses with the pans I have been and brought 3 more from the same range. 07 January 2013

Great sautee pan I recently bought two of the 20cm pans and one deep sautee pan. I am very pleased with the quality and value for money of this range. They are sturdily made and the non-stick is excellent. Highly recommended! 28 November 2012

Dissapointed I bought this online after reading the great reviews. Unfortunately, it was a dissapointment. It does not conduct heat well at all (s an understatement) and the lid fit appeared ( and indeed is ) shoddily made. In fairness though, this is not advertised as the pan for the passionate cooks. I am now buying a slightly more expensive one after I've seen it in a John Lewis store in person :) 09 September 2012

Amazing pan! I was disappointed when the pan first arrived because it was damaged, but after a phone call John Lewis said they would collect the pan and supply a new one. This they did straight away without any fuss and it really is an amazing pan if you have a big family or entertain. The straight sides enable you to cook a large amount and having a lid is really useful. It's also guaranteed for 25 years, so all in all a great purchase at a really good price. 27 June 2012

Wonderful So pleased that I bought this. Used it so much for saute, the original purpose, but also for frying fish and making a pasta sauce. Wish I had had one years ago. 18 April 2012
