Material piled very quickly and poor sizing I was very pleased to find this duvet cover which went with our room perfectly and was very warm for the winter. However, after just two washes it had piled and looked very old. Also, it was bigger than our kingsize duvet, so hung over the bed by about a foot and looked very untidy. Thankfully, good old John Lewis took it back today and gave me a full refund. 19 February 2013

Very warm, but sadly material " piles " Very warm. No need for electric blanket, but sadly material piles very quickly within a few washes, and looks very old. Warmest bedding I have ever used, and Tobias is a very classy design. 09 January 2013

Lovely and soft but sizing not great. This duvet cover is soft and cosy. I'm sure it will be great for the Winter. My only complaint is that the kingsize duvet cover is considerably larger than our JL kingsize duvet which makes it look untidy. 31 October 2012

Perfect winter duvet cover Soft and warm without being woolly this is a great duvet cover for cold nights when you don't really feel like cool crisp cotton! (So not so good for summer though). This sort of subtle check and muted colour actually much harder to find than you'd think, looks really good and extremely pleased with this choice. 15 February 2012

Fabulous soft material stylish but double comes up a little large. Very soft fabric, great colours. Does come up a little large in size, we have the double. 02 November 2011
