John Lewis Unisex 3-In-1 Jacket, Black
Great school coat!
I spent ages looking for a suitable secondary school coat for my son. It had to be long enough to cover a blazer and have pockets etc. This coat fit the bill! The only thing I can fault is that you would need to buy one size bigger if you were to wear it with the fleece lining and a blazer. - Otherwise - fab!

Very good buy
Detachable fleece makes the coat very versatile for use in autumn / spring as well as colder winter months. Waterproof and windproof. Nice and long too. As per the image this is a plain coat and ideal as part of the school uniform. I would strongly suggest going up a size if worn with blazer.

Buy this jacket!
This is a really good product - it is practical, hard wearing and value for money. It can used without the fleece lining in the autumn & spring and the fleece adds the extra layer for the winter months. It fits the bill for the school uniform code and my son likes it!

John Lewis 3 In 1 Jacket, Black
Really good value and very versatile, with possibility of relatively cool waterproof jacket, fleece or jacket with fleece zipped in for Winter warmth.

Really useful product for school
3 in 1 jacket hasn't been worn yet but should keep my daughter warm and dry, very handy to have the inner to wear separately.

3 In 1 Jacket, Black
This Jacket is excellent value and is very warm, so my son tells me. The inner fleece lining can be removed for when the whether gets warmer. It is ideal for wearing over a school blazer

Kings Junior School Coat
Excellent 2 part coat consisting of a warm fleece jacket and a longer length outer water and windproof coat proof. Lovely and warm when two parts are zipped together and worn as one. Easy to wash.

Disappointing from John Lewis
Just like previous purchasers, I found the cuffs to be far too tight and too hard for lil uns to get on/off when the fleece and coat are attached. My son is 5 and is on the 2nd of these coats, the 1st had 1 large and 1 tiny cuff and the fleece zip came completely off, the 2nd one has ridiculously tight cuffs, the loop to attach the fleece to the jacket at the collar is so tight you have to fight to get the press stud through and the stitching on the fleece collar is extremely poor and likely to come apart. The quality of these coats does not in my opinion meet that expected of JL and it is clear there is a design fault with the cuffs. Come on JL take note, your brand integrity is everything!
