Good quality at a reasonable price We bought 2 mattresses for our grandchildren's new bunk beds. Fitted perfectly, good quality and delivered by 2 pleasant JL drivers. 29 July 2014
Great valve for money Excellent value for money, great quality. Would defo recommend 04 June 2014
Very poor mattress I bought this mattress a little over two years ago for my sons bed. I normally would not consider a value mattress but was reassured by the 'John Lewis' reputation and thought this product would be fine for my 10 year olds bed. When it arrived I was very happy with it. It looks well stitched and put together and felt comfy enough. However over the years my son has complained of the lumpiness of it and has said he can feel the spring sticking out of it. As I am a busy and mostly distracted mum I ignored his comments #sorry!#. However today when I was changing his covers, I stopped to check out the mattress. It is just awful. If you sit on it you can hear the spring popping and creaking and feel it sagging. If you lie on it, pretty much every spring sticks up through the very thin wadding. My son has also complained of an aching back which I dismissed as just growing pains. I feel like a terrible mum for having ignored his comments about the mattress and having bought him something so rubbish and unsupportive. I was convinced by all of the five star reviews that this mattress was a great buy. Looking at the reviews now, there are a number from other buyers, like myself, that have had the mattress a few years and are reporting it has poor longevity. Would not recommend, even for occasional use! 21 May 2014
Great value Mattress Great value, perfect for a childs bed or for ocasional use 20 May 2014
Great value and comfortable I brought this to go with my son's Wilton bed. I was worried as it was quite cheap but when it arrived I found it to be of good quality. I have since spend many early mornings lying next to my son and it feels really comfortable. 06 May 2014
did not last Bought two of these 2 years ago. They have only been slept on occasionally by guests. They were not very comfortable even when new, and some springs of one mattress are now sticking out so that it has become useless for sleeping. Wish I had not bought these cheap mattresses in the first place as now I need to replace them anyway with the more expensive foam mattresses I used to buy which have lasted much longer. Not very good value for money in the long run. 18 April 2014
Very pleased Very impressed with the delivery service - polite and helpful and on time. The mattress is suprisingly weighty for a budget mattress which I hope bodes well for the future. My 4 year old has no complaints so let's hope it lasts! 19 March 2014
Cheap, comfy, perfect for our bunk beds My son needed a new mattress for his bunk beds, didn't want to pay out a fortune but this one was very reasonable and had great reviews. No complaints from me - thanks you! 12 March 2014
