Q & As

John Lewis Wooden Clothes Pegs, Pack of 24 1.2 5 6 6
Disappointing Very disappointed with this product. Wood is poor quality and I have had no end of splinters when picking up and using the pegs. Not good and have had to throw out the majority of packet. 01 July 2014
not brilliant used pegs twice now, and 20% of them snap in to 2 when the wind blows too strong. Actual wood is fine, its just the spring in the middle separates. 01 May 2014
Don't waste your money These are awful quality - not what you expect from JL at all. Rubbish wood and a lot have fallen apart already even though I've only had them a few weeks. Only given 1 star as I can't give any less! 15 April 2014
Disappointing I actually bought the white plastic version of these pegs but can't review them as they aren't available on line. After using them I wished I'd bought the wooden ones as the plastic ones have proved to be a waste of time. I thought this was due to the lack of friction on the smooth plastic, but having seen the other reviews it seems the wooden ones are just as bad so I'm glad I didn't buy a set of those as well. 13 November 2013
Useless Pegs The quality of this product is worse than poor, wood catches the clothes, spring twists then the peg falls apart. Local supermarket buy half the price and quality far more superior in every way. 18 July 2013
Poor quality I bought these thinking that as they were John Lewis', they'd probably be reasonably good. They look quite sturdy and well-made (as well as pegs can be!!!). They are, however, almost as bad as some very cheap pound-store pegs I bought. Quite a few of them have fallen apart and of those that are still 'together' many of them twist as I try to use them and will, I suspect, break shortly. I'll be reverting to buying from the supermarket again and won't be buying any more of these! 04 October 2012
