Rated 5 out of 5 by Kenwood Kettle Ihave previously purchased a Kenwood Kettle which gave excellant service. On its demise I decided to again have a Kenweed. I was pleasantly surprised to find that instead of having to pull the lid open there is now a button on the handle for ease of opening - great improvement. I would recommend this kettle for its sleek fresh appearance. Very quick to boil and of course the new lid opening. 25 March 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Broken switch & light Light broke after 6 months but as trivial did not return it. 14 months, just out of warranty switch is broken. Wrote to customer services.. NO REPLY. It was not as quiet as hoped. 19 March 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Brilliant kettle! Already own one of these kettles and have just bought this one as a "spare" in case this design is discontinued for some reason. It is in constant use as we are a retired couple always in need of tea!! Speedy, efficient and still looking good after 2 years. Reasonable price and the matching toaster is recommended too! 17 March 2015

Replacement for identical kettle bought 2 or 3 years ago on strength of JLP reviews, and no complaints. Eventually the first one started to leak (which the new 2 year guarantee might cover if it eventually happens again). 03 March 2015

I replaced a similar Kenwood 4 years ago with a fancy Bosch which had to be replaced within the guarantee period, and its replacement only lasted 2 years. I LOVE having this efficient unpretentious kettle in my kitchen. Good quality, good price, good looks. That's enough for me. 04 February 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Very poor kettle First of all plastic around the handle started to peel and colour faded, then the light went on the LED switch, and failed to switch itself on and off, then started to leak. I have informed Kenwood as it is not under guarantee now. I was told I have to gain a inspection report from a reputable firm or send to Kenwood. No reputable firm wanted to check it and why would I pay to send to Kenwood as I was not guaranteed my money back. 31 January 2015
